I saw your post in the thread about people affecting computer performance, it sounded interesting. And so does your introduction on your site. I just thought I´d welcome you to h2g2, I think you´ll like it here with it´s mix of intelligence and weirdness. I´m a danish guy myself, studying geology in sweden. Which tropical country are you actually living in, I´m curious. I hope you´ll stick around h2g2 anyway.

I've already found the SEx forum to be very interesting and I do like some creative, intelligent weirdness thrown in with the science to spice it up. I'm in Papua New Guinea and I get plenty of weirdness here but it's of a different sort. So far I really like the ambiance of the discussions - there are plenty of disagreements but they're not too strident. I haven't seen the kind of violent, flaming put-downs nor the really mentally ill looneys that I've seen on some other forums.
So, thanks for the warm welcome even though I'm already quite warm enough and you probably don't have much heat to spare where you are right now.
