60 Years
I think the People's War is a wonderfull memorial. We cannot forget the unmeasurable strength and courage that the people endured as they struggled to bring back the light to a world that became enveloped in darkness. I think the generation that survived the darkness was so busy putting their
lives back together, they never
thought of themselves as heroes to the human spirit. I'm so sorry that
it has taken almost two generations
for the world to begin paying homage
to these heroes that gave so much,
lost so much,endured and shouldered
the unimaginable task that lay ahead
of them.God bless you all.I'm from
the United States and a WWII monument
dedicated to the memory of the armed services and the 60.2 million
Americans who fought WWII was opened
just this year. Many thanks to Steven Speilberg and Tom Hanks as
they have made us realize that
we had forgotton these heroes and we
needed to step up to the plate and
show them some respect by honoring
their sacrafice.My dad, L.C Flournoy,
served in the newly formed Naval
Construction Battilion,SeaBees.Read
his story posted in the People's War.
Let us never forget the madness.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
