Morning Jane
Going round to Maggie's to try to sort out their printer - now that the Archers omni has finished, she not only listens each day but the omni as well. Trouble is when you appear to have some competence, people then ask you to sort out their problems. Going to Harborne again this aft but doubt I'll stay for whole match. There might be a heavy shower later as well. See you later.

Hi Jane
Round on Maggie's computer now - you're not the only one who can use different PCs!! - and noticed your eyes.
Sorted out their printer problem v quickly - it's easy when you know what you're doing
See you later

Back home now. How many PCs (note, not PC's) do you actually have in yr house? I can never keep track of which room you're in!! I assume they're networked. Perhaps I should get myself a laptop then I wouldn't have to walk all the way upstairs to check my emails etc!!! Of course if I then got a wireless internet connection the world would be my lobster - I'd never manage any time away from the computer. Could take it off to Harborne which is where I'm off to now. No perhaps not such a good idea after all. There's more to life than the internet (I hope).
see you later

Oh, just noticed post 188 - didn't see it earlier as I was only on for a few mins. You see to have gone now anyway! I MUST pot on my tomatoes this afternoon - GQT weather forecast is for mild weather so they can go out now or I might be a softy and put them in the conservatory. Trouble is it gets too hot in there unless I'm around to open all the windows. And I have dozens of leggy antirrhinums crying out for attention too...at least they'll thrive wherever I put them.

Well you can stick your tongue away young lady or you'll stay like that if the wind changes.

Thank you, but it looks a bit too sweet for me.
What are you doing tomorrow?
Hello Andy
MabelJane Posted Jun 4, 2006
All sorts of things I SHOULD be doing... probably none of them though! Must go shopping at some point for fresh and other fruit and veg etc.
The plum tree seems to be recovering - there were little white aphidy type things inside some of the leaves - but so far I haven't sprayed, hoping the ladybirds will find them or do they only eat the green ones?
Are you going to watch more cricket?
