G'day!
Well!This must be what Ace was meaning,only just found it!!Takes me a while to work this thing out.As you can probably guess I am an ex~pat Pom,dont mind being called that so long as they dont call me late for dinner!I have been in Australia since 1960,loved it from the moment I set foot on the shores.My main interest is in anything equine but really anything interests me,I love reading,when I get time,which isn't often.Lead a pretty busy life,my daughter and grandaughter live with my hsband and I,there's my daughters horse and the grandaughters pony to look after(I do the feeding of all of them!)Our lovely old Rottie was pts the other day,she had a nasty cancer on her face,we miss her as she had a beautiful nature & was so good with my grandaughter,they were best friends. Hard to explain to a 2.5yr old that she is not coming back.New puppy coming up I guess.Enough of the sad stuff,life goes on. Must say,glad I don't live in England now,couldn't handle the Eurocrats I'm afraid.I subscribe to This England magazine so I keep up with what's going on.Keep fighting for your independance for heavens sake. On that note I will retire to my bed,it's 11.45pm and I need my beauty sleep. C CHEERS
Just re-read this and need to up-date!We have a new Rottie ,called Ella,which we found out means "come here" in Greek,quite appropriate .!We've had her for just over 12mths. Granddaughter,now 4,has a new pony,a piebald Shetland called Panda.
