Yes, I've seen that thread, and been posting to it.

Mrs BA has just returned from town where she has bought a bra ready for a forthcoming wedding.

She normally used to go into a shop called Just Jane, which is staffed by two elderly but efficient ladies who measured you properly.

However, today, because she had a '£5-00 off' voucher, Mrs BA went to Debenhams, where they meaused her around the chest to get the basic size. But the, instead of measuring around the fullest part of the (/\) to get the cup size, the member of staff just looked at her and said, 'Hmm, I think your probably a DD'.

Meanwhile, a woman was also being measured up in the next cubicle and Mrs BA heard her ask, 'Why don't you measure me around the fullest part of the (/\)'
The assistant replied that they weren't allowed to touch people at that part of the anatomy... that would be an assault... blah, blah...human rights... blah, blah...

Is this PC gone wrong or what?!

Hi BigAl, I've been a bit peeved off, and not been on hootoo a lot.

Ideal answer to that, well for Mrs BA anyway, you do the measuring next time.

I have been tempted to wear a bra for special occasions, most clothes (tops/dresses) are designed to be warn with a bra, and some don't hang quite right without one, but so far I've resisted, I just make sure I have clothes that hang okay without one.
