The acceptance of naturism
Hello ,
I joined last night and came across this site by chance and from what I've read it appears to be a worthy group to belong to.
My email name is Silverkyt I am over 60, married ,two adult sons and live on the other side of the world.
A lifetime ago I lived in the UK as things turned out at a young age I migrated to Canada and Australia not on a back packers holiday as its called today.
Generally Back Packers have a home base which they can return to in my case I didn't have that convience so when I left the UK I came to Australia first and my parents went to Canada.
The UK,Australia,Canada are worlds apart not only in distance but in culture and concepts of living are equally different .
Skin Cancer has taken its toll on the population here to such a degree that where there once many people at the beaches today its sparce.
The younger generation still sunbath yet they don't appear to pay heed to what is said and look like lobsters, sun yes but with sun lotion is ideal.
Having moved away from Britain so long ago I cannot remember if the County's have a say in what is acceptable in the way of naturism. In Australia the States have a say apart from the local councils overall though the State can say its okay.
Most states allow naturism however in Queensland it is illegal to be nude on Public beaches.
