I thought myself rather lucky the other day when I found a Cheer Bear in my local Scope. She's had a wash and is now in my bedroom. I would ecstatic if it had been Grump Bear though. Even as small child he was the one I identified with, but Cheer Bear was always trying to make him happier so perhaps it's better this way.

No, not a talking interdimensional lion, if I were I'd probably feel worse about being de-maned recently.
Things aren't too bad, I'm getting used to my new hairstyle.
I'm trying to go through the processes a visiting visa for the US for October, not so optimistic about my chances, so for a while I was pretty gutted over that lack probability. It is important to me, so I have to try, there's someone there I've been very much wanting to for such a long time. If I permanently denied entry that will suck. Badly.
Still, I enjoyed being at Robert Rankin's 'wedding' on Saturday. I saw Emilie Autumn live, albeit from a not so great vantage point, just a few weeks ago. Much with the corsets at both, never a bad thing.
Have you read Rankin or heard Ms Autumn?

I recently bought copies of Firefly and Odyssey 5. Not seen either before. I figured they were both worth a try. Odyssey 5 is brilliant, hope I'll find Firefly to be as good. You're not the only person I've seen rave about it and it's cancellation.
I expect I will soon move my avoidance of form filling from the net to Odyssey 5 episodes.

I have seen your posts about trying to get your visa... I have my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that it all works out in time... There's nothing worse than being desperate to someone you cant... Well, maybe one or two things, but not without actually bleeding!

I suspect you will like Firefly. I dont know anyone yet who doesnt. Have you seen Serenity? that's the film that came out after the series was cancelled but they gave Joss (gOD) a chance to finish his story... I recommend it once you've finished the series, and if you dont cry, you're cruel and cold!!!! (or just quite normal, perhaps... I used to cry at Buffy...)
