Which is (AFAIK) what I got baned/pre-modded for three months for - and I've just seen, while lurking a thread Hoo invited me to leave, your comments on my not staying around. As far as I could work out from the slightly incoherent emails and letters I got from a mod who shall remain forever nameless, I shall be punished again, if I discuss controversial stuff, and/or argue with certain people. Obviously, I can't go into it here!

But I am saying as little on h2g2 as I can - while on my enforced hiatus, I'd look in here and there, and saw other people who'd done the above, removed. At least, they're gone, and that's all I know...

The thing with Hoo, from what I can tell, is that he combines being very opiniated with being very thin-skinned. Hell, it wouldn't be Hoo if he didn't get pointlessly worked up about something at least once a week.

It's not that you're upsetting him, it's more that he allows himself to be upset... referring to my anti-Jewish vs anti-Christian comment in the Moral Majority thread I think one is just as bad as t'other.

And, yes, from where I'm standing (well, sitting actually... have you ever tried typing while standing up?) you're unsubbing was simply running away from the problem but in the face of somebody as closed-minded and stubborn as Hoo I can't say I'm surprised unless we can find somebody who is known for their level-headedness and neutrality and get them to referee a *proper* conversation between the two of you (maybe set up a specific Entry for it so people don't interfere).

A bit of a misunderstanding on the MM thread leads me to try and clarify that statement... I meant 'just as bad' as in ALL intolerance is bad in some way. Obviously Christians have never had it as bad as Jews.

What indicates any relationship between what Ive said resently and any past situation?

I try to deal with things as they happen sometimes I dont but, we are only human afterall.

When I was deliberately denigrating in the direction of *The doctor is in* i didnt notice you jumping in there. Which I wouldnt have been upset about and believe me Im not upset now. im a very calm person you try dealing with kids with behavioural problems and you'd know how placid you have to be.

So I welcome you're comments, because if you're thinking that way then chances are someone else is too. So even though Im not, you asking the question gives me a nudge to make my motives clearer to others.

Your post in the Did Bush Really Say... thread looked like a deliberate and venomous attack on Della. The big clue there was the three or four paragraphs which specifically referenced some of Della's behaviour of the recent past. The reason why I saw a link between that post and the *ahem* past situation is because I know you were deeply involved in that unpleasantness

The reason why I asked you not to drag things out again was because I didn't want to see the thread being de-railed over a single post.

Anyhoo. I'm not a calm person at all, and I get upset very easily (this is mostly thanks to a period of depression I suffered a couple of years ago, I took myself of the medicine and overall feel much better for it but unfortunately I have periods when my emotional state is extremely fragile) and for some reason your posts have an ability to get me riled in a way that no others do... I think we both need to make our motives clearer as if I'd done that you wouldn't have needed to turn on me and if you'd done it I wouldn't have got all worked up about it. Hell, I even put a disclaimer as my tagline to make sure people know that what I post and what I mean are all-too-often at cross purposes.

That's all cool.

If you and I cant get a long its as much my fault as yours but if I choose to respond to you it's all my fault. that's my take I dont want to get into fights with any one but somethings I cant help saying.

I cant help it if people take somethings personally but I can choose not to post but more often than not I choose to air my opinions. i dont mind if you disagree and hope you dont mind if I choose to counter your opinions of my opinions.

Hell, I think we both know that there are somethings which we agree upon and the fact that we don't agree on others just shows that we're both human.

You know full well that Hoo had nothing at all to do with you being put on pre-mod and then later on a month long suspension. It was your own posting style that got you into trouble (though I see you are still trying to blame others, including the moderators).

Actually, you tried to blame *me* for you being suspended (I still have those emails!) which mostly led to a lot of fun with creating the az cabal of which I am the High Priestess who seemingly uses mind control to make all her h2g2 minions do her bidding . . . thanks for that one, Della, it would never have happened without you.
