h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Looked through the first two pages, but I don't we have our own thread yet, so here goes.

I saw, on Steam, that you have The Witcher.

Is it any good?

I *think* it's good. I played it for about 20 minutes once and then got distracted and never went back to it. Currently doing the 'go back to old games I've never finished' thing starting with Dragon Age: Origins. I'll do The Witcher next!

Also need to pull my finger out and fix my desktop PC so I can get Dawnguard when it comes out.

Just recently got Deus Ex too... not sure yet how much I like it as I find it too difficult to kill the baddies and they seem to kill me very easily (especially when they have flame throwers and I'm stuck in a ventilation duct... on Easy... baddies with flame throwers, on flippin EASY), and it seems buggy as hell (if the graphics aren't all wierd the sound is) but it was only £1.49 so it's not like I've wasted any money!

Decided to download the enhanced version, and am enjoying it after first having had a testplay to figure out the important stuff.

The odd thing is that when I was more than halfway into chapter 2, I had this huge deja-vu. Normally a deja-vu is just a certain moment, but this was a several minutes long deja-vu.

I wonder if it really might be possible that they've copied an entire sequence from another game? Because I *know I've never played a mutant before, and I don't recognize anything else in the game.
