Now it´s me who have doubts about your doubts about whether I was being ironic or not...
If you really had doubts, it´s because
a) I need to hone my irony devices
b) considering the many conservatives soft-thinking minds(not necessarily voters) that pervail in h2, and if you don´t know me... well, it was easy to consider my words as genuine.

I think it's largely because I don't know you and because of what others had posted and the, as you pointed out, conservative minds on Hootoo it was proving difficult to work it out! Sorry, I guess I could have worded my query about whether you were being ironic a bit better as well! 
End of a long week and my brain is not operating at optimum capacity!
