Well, I generally like friendships to develop naturally over time... But, alright, as long as you promise to behave yourself and don't mind the smell of pipe tobacco and real ale.
You could also try going to Ask H2G2, Misc Chat, and the Games Room... they're all good places to meet people and can be found in the right-hand menu bar on the Front Page.
