But be careful - it can become quite addictive

Why is my personal space full of conversations ?????

Hi Jen

You can't see the exact time of the postings, only if the posting is 5 minutes old, 3 days, 2 weeks and so on.

Whenever you post to a conversation or subscribe to a forum new postings will appear on your personal space / conversation-list.
You can unsubscribe though by clicking on the unsubscribe-button at the bottom of the conversation.

To change your nickname you can click the preferences-button.

If I unsubscribe, will I lose all the conversations or not receive notification from my friends and their journals ?

Hi Jen,
I'm not an Ace or anything but I noticed that Floh got a bit tied up so I thought I'd answer - at least as much as I know.

If you want to update your personal space you do that by clicking the button on the upper-right (sort-of) side of your screen that is under your reasearcher number and name, mine says "edit page". That allows you to change the stuff in the middle of your space. If you want to get creative you need to learn Guide ML - something I've never bothered to do. Otherwise just by entering the text in the box you'll get a page similar-looking to mine.

When you add friends to your space (by clicking on add friends) then any time they add a journal entry, it will automatically pop up into your space. Otherwise, the conversations that you see listed on the left side are conversations that you've participated in. You can unsubscribe at any time but it won't make any additional room in your space. It will just be a blank area.

If you unsubscribe from a conversation you will no longer receive any notice of additions to that conversation but as long as the friend is still in your list you will receive notification of their new journal entries.

Help very much appreciated. Sunshine and blue skies here. The cats are looking up at my window but I'm not letting them in the house just yet.
