Background: Automatron Non Pond
Having spent the latter half of my life in a misguided pursuit of the joys of middle management, I have now come to the realization of several things in which we all must inevitably face.
1. There is nothing in this world as complex and intriguing as the human species.
2. It's absolutely incredible how stupidly this species can behave at times. And...
3. There must be a higher entity, otherwise the general operating characteristics of humans (2) and their uncontrolable desire to tinker with things they don't truly understand (1), would have resulted in the total destruction of life on this planet as we know it.
...or we've been pretty lucky so far.
At which time I sit back and enjoy the relative comfort that a career in IT affords. Unlike humans, if a computer begins to annoy you, you can shut it down... and not have to worry about criminal charges. 8-)
