There are three main things you can do on h2g2 - you can read what others have written, you can talk A451522 to the rest of the community, or you can write your own entries for others to read A462485 : Writing-Beginners A686595 If you want something to read you could try h2g2's own weekly newspaper ThePost A1161695 which is full of cool articles, stories and cartoons. Or if you feel really daring, you could try a RandomEditedEntry A147007 Who knows what you'll end up with!

you have to be patient or start lurking looking aound the site and start posting to others thats how i started on here if you find something intersting on someones personal space or some comment you can make go ahead and post on theres

you could also change your name to something more quirky by pressing the prefernces button this way is also a way of ppl seeing a funny or intersting side so they come and visit your personal space

Well i have a conversation going now with Universal Granny and she has been showing me how to use the smilies.
Look what i can do now i did try water, but it didn't work.
I have been taking a look around but i don't know what to say to them to start a conversation off.
