How are you?

Fine! I'm at work right now, and won't be able to sneak on for much longer. How have you been?

I've had the flu But otherwise, things are OK. If you don't count not doing anything for the last week or so.... I wonder if I could talk hubby into going to the movies today....

I'm getting things together for my trip down to Houston. TJ and I are spending 3 days in a U-Haul truck bringing his stuff up to NY. Should be ... interesting ...

A little better maybe? Thinking about taking hubby and kids to a movie. Might have to settle for one that looks really boring 'cause the kids'd like it....

I hate taking all the effort to go to the movies, then having to compromise!

Hee, yeah, well they're on holidays, and I could probably pour myself into a car to stare blankly at a screen for a few hours. Later next week I'm going to take them bowling, but I think the movies is more what I'm up to now...

Hee thanks The good news is that there's four different movies the kids could watch, so we won't have any trouble finding something.

Um... (sorry, I have too many conversations going and since I'm hardly here any more, never keep up with them ) we saw Ice Age but none of the others (they all looked pretty boring anyway, so thank goodness for that) and we've seen Star Wars Ep:2 which my kids loved (and I did too) since and we went bowling eventually, and I even got a strike!

I'm very bad at bowling. Fortunately, having kids means they'll put the bumpers up for me, which means I don't end up in the gutter. But I'm pretty sure they both beat me in the last game

I got to see Star Wars this weekend too! I loved it! I think the effects were much better than the last one. Even though the were good, you could tell they were computer generated. This time, it was so much better. And Yoda kicks butt! How cool was that?

I used to bowl ... even got my own shoes ... not that I was ever very good, but I was in a league once, and got my average up to around 150. Sadly, I can't bowl any more because of carpal tunnel syndrome. TJ loves to bowl, so I'm sorry we can't do that together.

I'm having a harder and harder time keeping up with conversations, too. I only have time when I'm not busy at work. I've been lucky for the past week.

I'm very excited! He got here 1am Saturday morning, and it's so wonderful to be able to see him every day. I'm not scared at all. I absolutely know we're doing the right thing, and I've made all the plans, and arranged everything, so now it's up to the professionals to make things work. No point in worrying about that!

How have you been? I guess a bit down about things, by the look of your user name, and your journal. I understand the feeling, though. Been there myself. The break usually helps. There are things that happen here, and with our online friends that probably wouldn't happen in RL, but it doesn't make them any less painful. I'll be thinking about you. I don't read my email quite as much as I'd like lately, but if you need to talk, feel free.

Things are Okayish now. I tend to go up and down. Not as down as I used to, which is a relief, but still they waver a bit.

I'm glad the wedding went so well.

I miss a lot of threads, because I don't come on as often as I used to. I hate to think that anyone's feeling neglected because of it. And don't even *mention* email! I'm about a month and a half behind!

We just got our wedding pictures back the other day. They came out great! We're very lucky, because the photographer was a total git. At least he knew how to take pictures.

Isn't the photographer supposed to be a git?

Sadly, the only threads I really keep in touch with are those on my page. Isn't that awful?

Not really ... when I don't have time, there are only a few I get to keep up with.
