Yes Vicki seems to enjoy being an ACE...and of course I get the personal touch too!

I have found myself a nice little niche on hootoo as well as VV's friends, who have been absolutely marvelous with me, especially when VV was in hospital. It's amazing how much support you can feel from friends you make on here.

Her friends literally cocooned me and made sure that I was kept out of mischief...I do tend to wander into areas that perhaps I shouldn't...anyway one of them will have a little word and pull me back out

It's like being a little kiddy again in the playground and you have yet to work out who the bullies are

Yes Lil the shame of it is, there are bad parts of the net also. Its good that you have others to watch out for you too. For the most part the net is a good thing, and like you say there are a lot of good people out there. I know there are a lot on hootoo .

I cant imagine you getting into trouble Lil , though knowing my Mum I can see why. My Dad was the one lol, he use to show me up rotten. Good job I knew him though, and could laugh at it.

I'm glad Vicki like being an ACE, its a good thing to do, and helps others. I been quite busy tonight, that is why I got back here late. Always have trouble sleeping me Lil. That's why I have to sit up till I feel tired. Then I can go to bed, and fall asleep quite easily. That is another reason I'm getting the push bike. Might wear me out with any luck

Didn't you mention yesterday, that you had found a couple of new bike clubs or was it routes..I really should have read this thread before answering..You must let me know how you are doing with your cycling.

I can get a bit confused on hootoo. I have been known to call a male hootooer Sir - only to be told - I'm only 15. The other day I told another off and called him a young whipper snapper. He turned out to be just a couple of years younger that me....but I still stand by what I said to him!!

Your mum would love on here! Can you imagine it, 2 Nana Moons wandering the streets of hootoo.......confusion would reign enternal!!

I have not got the bike yet. I have to wait a little bit for it to be brought here. Normall about 14 days they tell me. I been looking up websites about cycling. They have much more for cyclists now, and its looking very exciting . I really do need to get fit again now, and have let myself go a little bit. Its going to hurt like hell but have to get there lol .

Glad you liked my post Lil, and I bet you woke up now. I'm like that too. It takes a bit of time for me to wake up in the morning. Hehe.

Well darlin' Nana Moon has not been too bad today

I went for a little walk around the streets of hootoo and was smiled at and nodded and the most peculiar wave similar to lifting your hat off dear...I'm sure you would know it!! Then there was the one very similar to Winston Churchill's wave during WW2...I'm sure you would know that one dear.

Well Nana Moon need her rest....she cannot be expected to walk around all day and not get a rest.

No Lil not as yet lol, but soon you will . Your be able to say: "On ya bike." I made Mum laugh, I told her I could get another fitting for it, that would make it into a tandem. That made her laugh .

Yeah Lil I can imagine. My Dad was a character lol. He was funny though at times..

Mum has never been into computers, she looks at this as though it was from out of space. She 's her tv and little dog Tiny lol. Trouble is even he is getting on now. In dogs years he is well into three figures now. Oh and she has her Cockatiel too. He would make you laugh Lil . He keeps saying Percy's not well. Who the hell Percy is I don't know

That would be funny seeing you two on here though. I agree Lil, they wont know what hit them . I think Vicki will hide in the box room lol. I know I would .

VV and I only fight over the computer when she is visiting these days which seems to be all the time!!

The stutter this morning was because the *XML Error Loading* came up and I was not sure that the posting had taken!! I should have looked first .

Are you sure your Mum's cockatiel isn't talking in code ie Percy Filth..that was a phrase in an old TV comedy series called The Lovers.

Whenever he got too romantic, she called it Percy Filth!!

Maybe you Mum or Dad were having a joke about it and taught the bird part of the phrase

My Nephew got the bird for Mum when her other one died, and I think he got it from someone that didn't want it no more. Its funny some of the things it comes out with though. Mum got him to say a few more words.

I remember that Percy Filth. The saying any way. Some of them programs were funny. I use to laugh at Alf Garnet, and Dad use to like On The es, because he was a driver .

I can imagine you and Vicki Lil , its good comapany too I think. I been married twice Lil, a bit shy to try that again lol. Makes my to think of it even.

I'll take that you have already left.

It's amazing how many men on here say they are shy in RL (there again experiences can knock the stuffing out of you) and yet they come across as very vibrant, this can only be your personality coming through on the threads and you have a wonderful personality.

Yes, I had a rather nasty experience with VV father and it took a few years before I could trust a man again. Hubby was/is a very patient, loving man and he has been well worth waiting for!

From what you say, your Mum and Dad had a close and loving relationship and that is very rare to come across these days.

I would not even attempt to advise you on your relationships. You have seen enough to know what you really want out of them.

Sorry I'm late tonight. Had a really busy day, and computer trouble. A pain in the bum Lil, but I got there lol .

I'm glad it all worked out for you. Yes Mum and Dad did have something special. You could see that by how lost she was the day he died. It was funny watching them sometimes. I guess for me it wasn't to be Lil. My second marriage was 12 years. My first time we were both too young really. I have a daughter from that one, and she is lovely. It was her birthday today, and she was 24. Her Mum died a couple of years ago now from MS. I never knew till we had been divorced a couple of years. It took a long while to kill the poor girl.

Still who knows Lil it still might happen yet . I'm doing well though, and cant really complain about life. They say their is always someone worse off than yourself don't they That is a fact too by what I seen Lil .

I'm not shy in RL, just careful lol.

Please accept my apologies, I did not mean to pry into your personal life.

It's just that when we started communicating, you were so bouncy and jolly that I took you to be somewhere in the region of 25-30 years old.

It was only when you said you had been married twice that I realised I had underestimated on your age. Not that it makes any difference mind!

So we are of a similar age, that't nice...I can still be Nana Moon . That's the joy of hootoo, you can be whatever you want! But I usually make it quite clear from the outset that I am *no spring chicken* more a broiler these days

Well *old timer* at least we can still laugh and enjoy ourselves!! We can show those youngsters a thing or two

No its fine. I'm 45 y/o now lol, but don't act like it at times. Funny Lil I feel no different. Its only if I was to around a football pitch that i'd notice it lol. I would more and likely end up laying on the grass .

I tell you something Lil, my old Nan was 86 when she died, I was only in my teens then, and she could still walk the legs off of me. I never knew how she did it

No don't worry I don't mind Lil. Your right about the youngsters though. They don't seem to be made from the same sort of stuff these days. I love talking to people on here, and have met all ages Lil. I would say that most are really good people. I have had some good laughs on here.
