Hi Twurlit,
No, I haven't heard "creeping in".
Do you know, when Nora's first album came out I put it in my car and played it continuously, I loved it somuch and found it very calming.
It must be me, but now everything seems a bit same-y to me.
I must listen to her second album, though, give the girl a chance,eh?
But, I confess, I'm a bit like that, I tire easily of the same voice etc. Not just singing, everything! I'm always looking for "change".
My husband used to say he couldn't understand how he had lasted so long!!

Darling
You have read Essjay's 3rd installment haven't you. Ever since I read it I haven't stopped thinking about the yummy food she describes.
The thought of a huge pan of onions, garlic and tomatoes etc has been driving me nuts, so that's what's cooking now. 2lb lamb, 2lb fresh tomatoes, mountains of onions, garlic and herbs, chick peas, corgettes, peppers, chunky passatta, red wine, and loads of other tasty stuff. The smell is gorgeous. Don't know what goes into a goulash but this is wicked.
I'll save you some!
(Thanks Sallie! XXX)
Hope you're feeling better

Hi Corrie,
Oh, it smells fantastic!!!!
Wish I wasn't so full of liver and bacon, mash and onion gravy AND a PINT of lager, I would be hot-footing it around to yours.
Maybe I ought to lie down for awhile and then perhaps I'll get some appetite back. If not, can I have some tomorrow?
I really ought to sit and write to the Brewery, trying to make them pay at least half towards my new fence. I keep putting it off. Must get it sorted. Nice to see you.
I think I'll have a nice large

Hello
Thank you - we are all well.
Did you watch the motor racing or is that a silly question? I read once that you said you drive too fast after watching! Can just imagine you in your nippy mini being chased by cars with flashing blue lights.
Hope someone gets back to you on the f1 thread. I've asked to join a grumpy thread - that way when I'm feeling grumpy I can grump away! Feeling far too happy to be grumpy today but it's good to know it's there - maybe will post next time I watch the news.

Hi Corrie,
Watching the News is dangerous, it makes us all grumpy all the time.
A friend called in this afternoon and it took us about 20 minutes to put the world to rights.
And we don't even get paid for it.
Yes, I watched F.1. and very good it was too. Lovely to see Jenson on the podium again.
Glad you are all well now. My cold seems to have disappeared one day and back the next. Need a few glasse of I reckon.
Care to join me?

Hi Corrie,
I was Online for just as long as it took to see if there were any messages, so that was a co-incidence, wasn't it?
Been out shopping all morning, went with a friend and had a lovely time.
Off to do my ironing now.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
essjaybee Posted Jun 16, 2004
Dear Catharina....
It seems strange to be typing that instead of , but I am pleased that you have been able to come out of the closet finally! Just wanted to wish you Gefeliciteerd! and Fijne Verjaardag! and hope that you have had a lovely day. I shall celebrate with some in a couple of hours and raise my glass to absent friends and longevity!! Sorry that Holland didn't manage to sneak a victory against Germany last night - that would have upset the applecart! Better luck next time!
Hope you are well and enjoying the weather and that it stayed fine for you today. It seems to have been a bit "heated" over on the message boards as well - I have stayed well clear, but like to see Penny giving as good as she gets! She is braver than me!
Again, a very Happy Birthday to you and keep well and happy.
and a
Sallie

Hallo Fly. I posted a message on Corries page about the eclipse tonight but I see that she hasn't been here. With the weather we've got we may not see much of it anyway. I popped in to the Coffee Bar to see if Corrie was there and saw your message about the problems you've had with the plumber etc. I hope everything is getting sorted out and that everyone is keeping well now. Also hope that Corrie and her family are wherever they have got to. Pamela.

Hello Pamela
Thanks for your message. Plumber etc will all sort itself out, I suppose, sooner or later, but there always has to be a hassle first, for some reason.
Corrie hasn't been around for ages, don't know where she's gone or if she still looks on these pages.
I have had some really bad nights and thought I was bound to be awake at 4.00 to get up and look at the eclipse, so, of course, this was the one night I slept straight through. Don't know what the weather was like at all.
Oh dear.
Hope you are keeping well.
Bye for now

Hello I didn't have much luck with the eclipse. Weather was terrible here. (South Wales) Thick black cloud and heavy rain most of the time. Also the position of the moon this time meant I had to go out into the garden. I was luckier the last time we had a late night eclipse, a few years ago, I could see it through the bedroom window. At this time of the morning neigbours would have thought I was crazy going outside. I did pop out for a few minutes about 3 am, but it was very cloudy. The moon was nearly covered, but it looked brown ,not red. Hope wa both have better luck next time.
I'm still trying to sort out whose pages my posts turn up on. Some seem to get all over the place, but I think I've only posted sone of them to myself.

Hello again. I realise now that I got things wrong. It's BDG who had problems with the plumber. Her daughter's bedroom got flooded, as you know because you replied to her in Coffee Bar. I got the initials on the posts confused and thought it was you who'd had the problem.
From your reply to me ,it seems like you have had problems as well. I hope everythings now.
about the mix-up, but nice talking to you anyway.
Keep in touch. from Pamela.

Hi Pamela,
How funny, I didn't realise the "plumber" message wasn't meant for me. I'm having all sorts of things going on here and the plumber is one of them.
Tomorrow they are coming to lay on a gas-fire, but they have to get the gas from the garage, through the kitchen and then into the living-room. I wonder why I've started all this.
But, no doubt, all will be well one day.
After the gas-fire the plumber is going to remove the sink from the kitchen and install a new dishwasher, THEN, replace all the worktops, THEN the painter is coming and omygod, do you want any more? The list is endless.
I don't know what's happened to Corrie, I thought you were closer to her than any of us. Have you not got her e-mail address?
She always said she wasn't going to stick around the message boards forever as there is so much more to do in the world. She is very energetic, isn't she?
Bye for now, Pamela, and please don't apologise, I was really happy to get your message, even if it wasn't meant for me, it fitted!!!
