My mother turns 80 and I have two rather big travels I need to put into a "quickest possible after the summer holidays" schedule: Brazil & SE Asia. Aug 1 is out, that is the only sure thing now (we're still in Scotland on hols there)...

Just watched an interview with queen Margrethe on svtplay dot se and I was once again reminded that I think she's a person. And I'm glad she's kept her knowledge of Swedish up to date, never a moment's hesitation, looking for words (it was a Swedish TV news' anchor who interviewed her, and she responded in perfect Swedish).

I didn't know her Swedish was that good. But she speaks quite a few languages.

Regarding Arne Dahl: SVT has recently broadcasted a mini-series (two episodes) of Ont Blod, still viewable on svtplay

First episode avaiable 29 more days, the second 30 days.

Don't recall if it requires a Swedish IP-address, though - as far as I recall, Millenium did. So maybe I have to wait until it, inevitably, appears in DK...

I knew that the Norwegians and Swedes compete about telling jokes that will make the other part look as silly as possible, but I didn't know Danes and Norwegians had a thing going on as well. Troublesome lot, the Norwegians, eh?

I actually believe it is more between Swedes and Norwegians, as you say. Apparently didn't stop them from opening a second front...

...those jokes (because we surely tell them too) we are actually kind enough to keep within our own borders. We tell them about people from the city of Århus.
