Me Myself I
I started writing around 3 years ago, when a friend encouraged me to try and put into the written word, and onto manuscript, all these thoughts and ideas that had been racing around my brain. I have two lovely children, and a lot of the poetry I write concerns them. I am a keen amateur dramatist, and also a musician of the folk variety, playing, amongst other instruments, octave mandola and buzouki. Since I got those instruments three years ago, and learnt to play them, I haven't stopped writing tunes to be played on either one, I discovered this site by the back door, so to speak, because I, like other poets, have to relate my works to friends, and one of them suggested this site, but I misheard her, and went to the Poetry site on BBCi instead, before finding this site.
