Seriously though, my kid sister has apparently just started playing guitar. She's desparate to play for me, but from what I've heard, I should wait longer before I hear her... She's only 10, so...

Tricky one. Anything earlier than six months or so will be bashing at the thing, but you don't want to dent her confidence. Give her a listen and lie!

Fortunately I live on the other side of the country to her, but I miss that little brat like hell! I'm quite likely moving back to that neck of the woods in the near future though - a Durban clothing label signed me on and now want me to uproot myself.
