'ello Jim, I was just wondering how I would go about finding people's individual homepages ( so as to read posted articles that haven't been put into the guide yet ). It would seem that a lot of stuff is in the system but unreachable, unless I've missed something important which is highly likely. Some of my friends are also researchers and I'd like a look at some of their stuff, it just seems that I can't get there since their entries haven't been accepted or indeed responded to yet. Discussion forums only seem to be available for accepted articles, and if this is the case what's the point of posting articles on our home pages.
Please help, I'm confused and I can't get up.
Yours Gyre.

All articles have forums, not just official ones. So anyone can comment on any user pages.
The main problem is finding other user pages, which will be addressed shortly when we put up our site index and a page where people can see all the pages created in the last 24 hours.
And don't forget that you can jump directly to a user's homepage by clicking on their name in the message they've posted on a forum.

Hello again,
Sorry to bother you again, but I seem to be having a problem, that won't be fixed, no matter how I try. Every time I try to log on I get the ' welcome unknown hiker ' message.
Having gone to the ' don't panic ' page I tried all the different approaches, leaving me at the point where, according to your tech people, the problem lies with my browser not supporting cookies.
I know, however, that this is not true, as I often log onto other sites that utilise cookies, all of which recognise me.
The only site I am having trouble with is this one, and seemingly every time, regardless of how many times I re-register.
Help me, what can I do?

You aren't by any chance hitting the 'logout' button in the goo on the left are you?
This deletes your cookie & you are welcomed back next time as 'unknown hiker' - it caught me out a couple of times when I first started clicking it.
