First time researcher, long time thinker ?
Howdy, I'm Dave ( or Gyre, or a variety of generally derogatory terms I don't feel it necessary to go into here ) and this is my debut within the Guide's halloed halls*; hopefully I'll make a good go of it and maybe with a bit of practice, and the help of my fellows, I may wind up writing something interesting. Hence this introduction to Dave; at the moment I have nothing in particular to write about, and a nice new homepage which is temptingly blank...must fill empty space, must fill...sorry, I'm back again. This page originates from Australia ( about which I've already discovered some fascinating, and more than a little amusing entries within this very guide: the bit about the sticks is absolutely true ). I, on the other hand, do not. Originally from England, a freak accident with a tornado caused me to make Australia my home some fifteen years ago, and I've been ensconced here happily ever since ( except for a brief return to the greenery of the south Devon homestead a couple of years ago ). I suppose I could tell people a little about myself here, however due to the copyright infringements this would create ( for more information see www.loadofrubbishhejustdoesntwanttoboreyoutotears.com ) I shan't. Jolly good that man. Having filled in a bit of space on this page with my waffling, I shall now go a-searching. May your searches bear fruit ( or any other sort of animal-vegetative combination ).
