Testing the HTML pass-through syntax, I ended up with a problem-ette.
I put this into a page:
Looking for <![CDATA[ a good cup of tea? ]]>
According to my reading of the GuideML spec this should be treated as a literal within the caption string, so passing the HREF straight to the browser. But what you actually get is this:

So then you go back and try to edit it, which is where the fun starts because the GuideML is so badly broken that the Edit buttons are missing from the page!
I managed to remove one broken page by appending &cmd=delete to the end of the Edit cgi string, but what's wrong here?

There's a bug (actually two bugs) in the page editor related to CDATA. We will probably be putting a fix up for this tomorrow.
In the meantime, I'll see what I can do to fix your pages.

OK, I've removed the CDATA tags from the page. However, it still won't work properly because you've put tags in the caption for the picture, which breaks it because the caption of the picture is also used in the IMG tag as the alt text - because there are > symbols in the text, these are then interpreted by the browser as the end of the tag, and everything following it is printed on screen.
We'll put it on the bug list and see if we can fix it soon. In the meantime, it's probably better not to use tags in the caption for a picture.

Too clever for my own good, obviously I wasn't expecting an Alt tag. No-one expects the Spanish Inquisition....
It could be worse. There's a corrupt document somewhere in surgimp2.nsf which I have to track down and eliminate before I can go to sleep. It's now 11:50pm, and it's going to be a looooooong night!
