Michele - Doily Mogul: Don't leave me! If you go there'll be no braincells in the room at all!

So why did they have to use staples? Weren't they able to do a laproscopic procedure? (spelling) I had my gallbladder out a couple of years ago, and I have three very small incisions, and the stitches disolved. Three days in and out of the hospital.

Oh, and by the way, when they tell you that you will up up and around in 6 - 10 weeks - take it with a grain of salt. Your body knows that something was removed and you may well fell physically tired and get "twinges" around the surgery area for a good 6 months.

Lovely daughters! They're so sweet! Hope everyone else in family are doing well!

They started laparoscopically, but there was a lot of bleeding, so they had to convert to open. I have three arteries into the gallbladder where there's usually only one, apparently. And not I have a scar almost a foot long smiley - smiley
