Human rights
I am a retired man. I used to be a Science teacher (Head of Science and IT in a secondary school).
Just lately I have been very concerned about human rights. This country seems to forget the human rights of people in Iraq and Afghanistan. We do not have the death penalty in the UK so why inflict it on people in other countries.
Controversial? Lots of innocent people have been killed by bullets and bombs fired on our behalf. It is difficult to speak against war without being accused of a lack of support for our troops.
Just think about how we would feel if an army came to our country and bombed and shot people.
