You have my best wishes then. Good luck with your application. As radio is on all day and night this requires shifts and nights too boot. Still a damn sight more interesting than shop work or factory. I could work in a shop or an office. It's drive me up the wall. 9-5 Mon to Fri would be awful.

Morning. himura_musashi
May have been lost of face for you not to reply to posting and thereby delaying your departure. But also lost of face for me to have caused you that problem.
"Moved places" I deduce he/she had a reason. Perhaps you were better at the job then them?
What was the radio job and where? Of course you don't have to tell me if you don't want to and I'll respect that.
"Team leader" horrible Americanism.
Anyway, have a good day and good luck with the job, don't forget to drop by anytime you're in the area Always welcome.

no problem was laziness on my part, radio jobs just within the company like an in house radio station. your right team leader is a horrible americanism but it sounds less domineering (thats either not a word or im jus using it in the wrong context) then boss

Ah, I see. Right well, then
Yup better term than boss. It's like at school. A friend of mine was a head master, but is now a head teacher. It's seems it's not PC to call some-one a master, as that implies dominace. Also you cannot use the term mistress, for the sexual connections. It's stupid really when you think of it.
I used to have a comedy column in the in house magazine. When I stopped peope made me feel very proud by asking for it back agai.

must be nice to have people recognise your achievements, and miss something that you created... did you start your column again?

The Liquid Warrior (Vescere bracis meis) Posted Jul 21, 2004
Nope, changed department. This one doesn't have an inhouse mag.
Back in second, gotta go, work calls.

I love England. I am a Cockney and England is very important to Cockneys. They are very patriotic. No matter where I go, I always return to England. I loved touring Athens and ancient Greek sights. I'm going to Zante any day now for the loggerhead turtles, but England will always be in my soul.
(pause while some-one gives a quick burst of "Rule Britannia" and "There'll Always Be An England")

You'll have to work hard at offending me. I have the skin of a rhino, or should that be elephant? They do say that silly people don't know they are being insulted, which certainly explains a lot about me.
I have, don't know how it happened, earned myself a bit of a reputation of a being a master of the insult, which I'm sure I don't desrve. I told some one that I admired their modesty as they didn't boast of intelligence.
Unfortunately, they were not very bright and didn't know I'd insulted them.
We all have a role, a function, on this earth, and I'm sure someone has to full fill any I may adopt, so why not me?

My grandmother used to say; It takes very little ability to find fault. That is why there are so many critics.
If you know how to use a katana or a bokken, then you are not a fool.

wise words from your grandmother.. but then i always wanted to be a reviewer of movies and albums and i suppose that gets placed into the critics side of things
