Just wanted to give a friendly "Hello!" to Shagrath, if he's reading this (and if I know him, he probably is). Sooo... here we go:
Hello, Shagrath!
Ahh...now that I've got that out of my system...

Stupid Quote Bashing - Part II
Posted Mar 24, 2004
I was inspired by Luthiena's tag for this one; it reads: "...If you shoot for the moon and miss at least you'll be among the stars"
Obviously wrong again! If you shoot for the moon and miss, you'll fall into empty interplanetary space and be lost forever (unless you come back). Stars are obviously way too far away to reach on one tank of spaceship gas. I don't know who originally wrote this, but they were stupid for using a metaphor. I don't see how anyone can be inspired by metaphors that are obviously WRONG!

Gainsboro

I've always wondered what the word "gainsboro" meant. It's a color that is a lightish grey.

Stupid Quote Bashing - Part I
Posted Mar 11, 2004
Most famous quotes are very wrong. Therefore I am going to pick one at random and make fun of it.
"If you can dream it, you can do it." - Walt Disney
Here Disney is using a metaphor. Metaphors are BAD! Once, a while ago, and I'm sure everyone else has too (or at least most people), I dreamt that I could fly without physical means of support; i.e. by running and jumping. It was a pretty cool dream, but unfortunately I haven't been able to achieve this proverbial "doing" of flight. If he is talking about daydreaming, I can always daydream that I could get a sex change by sitting in my little office chair in programming class and nothing else. Obviously I can't do that.

--The Journal Entry That Comes After The One Before It--
Posted Mar 9, 2004
I really don't have much to say today, so...imagine that I'm making some big rant about anything. Here, I'll help:
Hope that helps.
Perhaps another day I'll add something more interesting.
