's suddenly crave attention and affection when you're on the computer? Since when is a keyboard the 'only' comfortable place to rest the royal feline butt?

So, you were only acting out of concern at the crime committed of 'stolen' bandwidth and how it affected your services that are being provided by the same company. You couldn't live with yourself any longer with this knowledge without taking action & you felt it your duty, compelled, to right this wrong, not just for yourself, but for all other legitimate users and accessors of hootoo. Your only concern was to point Telewest in the right direction of these bandwidth thieves so that we can all rest safe in the knowledge that these bandits can no longer perpetrate this wrong doing. Thankyou. Thankyou very, very much for taking this responsibility upon yourself, for no other reason whatsoever, than in the interests of a national company and so that they can provide you and others with an improved service. I'm sure Telewest are suitably impressed by your actions and ofcourse grateful at your recently discovered sense of justice and fair play.
As for all these people who are objecting and take exception to your actions, they're just missing the point right? All of them. Because you're right and that's that and your actions were entirely honourable and for the greater good. Goodness, it's not as if you haven't gone to great length to point that out, over and over again infact, because these 'fools' just don't seem to be getting the point do they? The fact that you once accesssed this site via digibox is irrelevant right, because you corrected this wrong as soon as you could, or maybe at least as soon as your parents bought you a pc. That can't count to making you a hypocrite can it, and even if so, what has that got to do with your 'point'?
My opinion? I think the main objection that people have, is that you've acted very, very spitefully, no matter which way you try to justify it, and they have seen through your arguement, because although, technically you have been proved right
, and digibox users access was infact 'illegal' as far as Telewest are concerned, no amount of your trying to focus opinion on that being your true and only motive, I believe, after having read through all the threads on this subject, one cannot fail to realise your distaste for certain members of this community (namely digibox users, or those less educated or articulate than you etc etc) and I suspect that hasn't escaped all these other researchers notice, and even if it has, I think the main consensus of opinion is that what you did just wasn't nice. You know, I've heard some pretty derogatory things being said against people with a more than passing interest in all things sci-fi, and suggestions what might be the best place for them, also pc and internet users........come the revolution eh?
Yes, Telewest fired the gun, but you provided the ammunition and told them where to shoot. Shame on you for that act alone.
