T-bones, no i dont mean your average slab off a cow! i mean the musical instrument, more commonly known as a trombone!
Well, it was our second foot ball game and we were in the stands doing what marching bands do best when not marching... cheering!
So we were doing a cheer called "FEAR" where the percution (drums) play and we yell FEAR!
So the t-bones huddle and wisper something and we star cheering "fear" but they make motions like they are drinking and yell BEER!
I saw this and thought it looked very cool! so i start doing it, and my frend then does it *by friend i mean '42'* and soon everyone is doing it! So tony... a t-bone... loos back (the t-bones are in the front row) and sees everyone doing the BEER chear!
So after the game, Tony comes up to me and says, "you started that didnt you?"
proudly i reply "YES!"
poor tony looks like hes gonna die and says "do you know how astonished i was when i look back and see half the band doing a cheer that was SUPPOSED to stay in the t-bones?!"
i just started laughing!!
he said "i hope noone saw us!"
so finnally we get to the band room where zach (another t-bone) is there puting his t-bone away... he looks at me and says, "you started that didnt you?"
great football game! we won 40-7 !!!! YAA!
