h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I thought I'd keep you in one place so as to avoid confusion... besides, you dont really want to be involved in all that girlie chat, do you?

This is all very simple to use, once you break it down and don't try and do it all in one go!

Pictures on your space are very simple, I'll talk you through it step by step so you can do it!

Ah, you're back!

1. click on the 'edit this page' link.
2. under the box where you've written your introduction, you will see 2 little circles saying plain text and guideML. Click on the guideML one and then click on the box on the right hand side of that that says change style.
3. You should now see this:



your intro



4. It will also be telling you there is an error in the guide.
Once you've found the picture you want there will be a BLOB number next to it.... write that down!
to put pictures in type this code EXACTLY! (but with your chosen blob number!)



obviously, if you don't want the picture on the left, right RIGHT or CENTER instead!

5. Where you have smileys in your introduction the code must look like this:

<SMILEY TYPE="disco"/>

the code will not work in guideML.

6. To put in paragraphs type at the start of the paragraph, and at the end.

7. to start a new line type:

Thats the basics down for you. If you still run into problems, Todd will give you my email addy and if yu mail me you login name, password and answer to your secret question, Ican do it for you. Also, if there are links to anywhere that you want added, let me know what they ae and I can put those in too!

Oh, and Im on digibox too, so its all possible, you just can't access links to other websites although you can put up links for external sites.

This is worldwide, people from everywhere can be found lurking in corners. I seem to have encountered mainly Americans and Australians so far, with a few brits thrown in for 'good' measure!

I know there is a place where all the old LD users rattle around, so if it's someone from there you're after, than you could be in luck, other than that, here probably isn't the best place. If you can get access to a PC, I'd recommend Friends Reunited!

I did use yoome, until this came along, dont think Ive been in there for ages, got sick of it freezing/crashing/ or generally making me lose the will to live!
I've been rattling round here for about 6 months or so! Its great really, although you do bump into the occasional but everyone's pretty nice really!

I'm usually around in the middle of the night, so if you need me I'll probably be lurking somewhere!

all i get is a white background

to the other h2g2 i try and log in the other way
it wont have it it just says you have etc etc
the browser buton twice, when i leave here
or press send i end up at betsies error page
and have to go all the way back to tv email
enter through the link back here thats why i dont come on much, and another thing i went to the list where you can can see whos on line it says im a new this week, i dont think so i was on here before you know what then got stopped etc. when i put a smiley face it dont turn yellow, bl*ddy "TW" they done somthing aint they
