Hello,I have been advised by a super intelligent shade of the colour blue that I must introduce myself, so here goes.
When and What
1971 is the year of my birth and I am male.
Where
I am currently living in Brisbane, Australia. It is a wide, brown, and horrifyingly flat country. Topography is a thing other countries have. The Great Wall of China is visible from space...The Great Dividing Range isn't.
Why
Because I can

Because I thought it would be a good idea at the time
No seriously, Why?
Well, contrary to what my school english teachers may have believed, I have and interest in writing. I also have a long held interest in Science Fiction. I can remember how it started. When I was about 5 years old, I saw an episode of Star Trek, the one with the 'starship eater'. I recall standing there with my jaw on the floor, mesmerised. Not even the local childrens adventure shows caught my interest like this show. My family and I were living in Japan at the time, so even in the mid '70s, their childrens shows were full of robots and space ships and men crushing balsa wood buildings in rubber suits looking uncomfortably like animals not designed to be bi-pedal. Out of all that, it was Star Trek that got me. From then on I was hooked. Then "The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy" arrived. I'm still laughing. In fact, as I'm typing this, I have the radio version playing.
So, here we are...having fun and enjoying life, the universe, and err everything...I am Completely_Mad.
