Why is English so difficult?

And nah... I don't think I will take up the trumpet again, if I have spare time to use on things of an educational nature, I would rather use it trying to learn German.

English is very difficult : first of all, you don't write like you pronounce, and the worst are the prepositions, I'm still at war with them quite often, so an 'average' speaker will just never know.

Yeah, English is very odd with its pronounciation in comparison to the spelling of some words... "yatch" for example. And what's so hard about prepositions...?

And I don't see how Latin could be easier than English. My online friend who kind of speaks Latin pretty well says it's an extremely hard language to learn because there is no word order and heaps of words have many different meanings.

Latin is very logical, and you don't need a word order, it's all expressed by the ending of the word, you know exactly which case it is, whether it's m/f, singular or plural. And English is a fine example for a language with words that have different meanings

Nah... I am not too tired to know... I do know the answer to the question... and no, I am not ok, really... I've been feeling quite sad lately, though not sure why exactly. And unfortunately I bothered taking my razor apart yesterday, so now I have three kind of sharp little blades which I can now use to make as many cuts as I like until they get blunt... *sighs at self* I really wish I wouldn't do stuff like that.

for the delay, my wanted the note pad, so I fell asleep whilst waiting . Dani, I can't comment on that, it's terribly scary, and I'm happy neither of my boys does want something alike.

How do you know your boys don't do it... kids are pretty good at hiding it. It took ages for my parents to find out, and they had to find out by my school, which found out because I told a couple of my friends and they went behind my back and told the school counsellor. *sighs and frowns*

And it's ok about the delay, I was downstairs eating something anyway, I hadn't had dinner yet, so I was hungry. Plus it was amusing 'cause my brother got a new Gamecube game, Donkey Konga, and it was cute watching him playing with the bongos.

I think one of my boys would know if the other did, they share a room, so are pretty close. My boys bought a new gamecube game last night, it's called 'Tales of Symphonia'

I haven't heard of that game.

And still... you can't be sure. Even if one of them was doing it and the other knew, they'd probably keep it to themself if they're as close as you seem to think they are. But still... people can be very sneaky with that kind of thing, like, maybe injuring themselves in areas which are usually covered by underwear, or perhaps even something like between their toes if even those areas aren't private. But the point is, you can never be sure about that kind of thing...

Maybe you're right, but, as a matter of fact, I am sure about my boys
