Hi, what did you think of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? I really liked that movie.

Hi JEllen!
Yeah, I liked it too. I had a slightly wrong impression of it before watching, because of the trailer. I thought the trailer suggested more of a crazy comedy with the happy music and everything. And then it turned out to be a serious story about the relationship. It was really unusual . And of course Jim Carrey in a different role than normally, first I was sceptical, but he was pretty good. When the film was over, I watched the beginning again, the first 5 or so minutes, because I didn't understand when the scene was taking place at first . I enjoy it when the director plays with timelines and confuses me .
I also watched "Garden State" and "Broken Flowers" recently. I enjoyed Garden State very much, if you haven't seen it that's defiantely a good tip for anyone. Broken Flowers was a huge disappointment The film was fine, Bill Murray cool as ever, but the end??? I just sat there "What, this is it??"

Eternal Sunshine confused me the first time I saw it too, but then a saw it again and sorted it out, then saw it a few more times just because I liked it so much.
Also liked Garden State. That character that was a gravedigger was a hoot.

I loved the scene where this guy fires a burning arrow into the air and they have to escape it. That was a wonderful camera perspective where you see them always running in opposite directions . And of course the new shirt, the same pattern as the wallpaper .

Hey Susanne, how goes it?
I'm doing okay, just a little blue cause I miss my parents. But other than that, things are good.

Hi JEllen!
I feel pretty stable at the moment. I'm able to face everyday-life again, which is a great improvement.
I think I'll write a journal entry soon, to update on everything.

Hi JEllen!
I'm reading this strange russian book called "Master and Margarita" Satan is holding a ball in Moscow It's as if someone wrote down his dream, just a sequence of strange persons and situations Maybe there'll be a solution at the end.
I gotta read Douglas Adams again ..that reminds me, I haven't read "The long dark tea-time of the soul" yet, maybe I can find it in paperback somewhere They've opened a new bookshop in town, too, I need to check out the English section there
