Hi outrider.
I'm an unofficial h2g2 Ranger and I would like to welcome you. You will be contacted by an <./>ACE</.> (Assistant Community Editor) shortly who will be your main guide but if you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to ask. I will try my best to answer and if I don't know, I'll get someone to contact you who can.
Some useful links to get you started are:

Good luck

Cheers Catrina.
Typical is'nt it? I was online for ages when nothing was happening, then just when someone replies the better half gets BT to boot me orf!
It not just this site that's new to me, it's the first time I've bothered to join an active site like this.
I know how a goldfish must feel whe it looks out of its bowl. There is just sooo much out there!

I was the memeber of a couple of other sites, but I kind of forgot about them as soon as I found this one. It is one big site

Hi there!
It Is BIG, but it's also friendly . Just a shame I don't type faster . Still, looks like I'm going to be getting some practice !
Fiesors' advice is pretty good, but I'd fumbled my way round the "easy" bits by then.

My typing speed sure has improved over the last year.
This is a huge site, and it can be very easy to get lost, so using the 'search' button helps.
There's even a biker's society on here.
I find getting lost is the best way to navigate.

Funny how many people reckon getting lost is the best way around.
Looks as thoughits working for me too!

The trouble with trying to find out the right way properly involves knowing where you are to start with, which can be a tricky one.
It took me a good two weeks when I first joined to figer out how to find my way around.

If the universe is finite, random actions will eventually bring you back to the begining.
If its infinite - better go buy a lottery ticket (chances are better!).
Too much

Laura Posted Jan 20, 2004
Well, I've found the right way more times that I've won the lottery so maybe the universe is finite.
Although it should probably be taken into account that I've never bought a lottery ticket.
Nothing wrong with lots of
