Ages & ages ago you suggested I look at some of your conversations and maybe jump in.... fat chance. Can't keep up with it........... but those teacakes looked tasty....... so I'll just keep lurking around if you don't mind.....

At the moment, you're better off out of things. There's been a bit of simulposting, misunderstandings and enthusiasm which lead to confusion and hurt feelings. Quite childish for a bunch of allegedly sane adults, hey? It's a good job our kids hopefully won't ever read this lot!

But I bet your kids find it sooner or later (or do you logout each time?) because if it's anything like me & my mum they'll turn out just like you and like the same things and the same websites..........

Nope! No problems on that count (yet). Mair is too interested in the "Dragon Ball Z" and anime related sites. Besides, I have the system so that they can't access anything without my password!

There is nothing selfish & wicked about giving yourself some time on the internet to keep you sane *scratches head* sane? am I mad, I've seen your posts.... *ducking & running*

To quote a certain Mr. Basil Fawlty, "It's just my way of getting through the day!"

Hmmmm! "Time on the internet" hey? *Giggles* I think the kids are getting fed up with burnt dinners and having to ask exactly when I'm going to start cooking them in the first place!

Christopher: "Can I have my bath now please mummy?"

Me: "Not now. In a minute"

Ten minutes later: "Mummy have you finished yet"

Me: "No. Go away. I'm not going to finish unless you leave me alone!"

And so it goes on for the rest of the day! Actually, it doesn't matter what I'm doing, I always get requests to stop and do something else. It's no wonder I never get anything finished during the school holidays!

But that's women's work, isn't it? Being interrupted all the time. We're good at multitasking (feeding the baby, cooking the dinner, paying the bills by phone and making papier maché masks with the toddler all the time telling the - reclining on the sofa - husband what a great guy he is!!!) Or have I got it all wrong?
