Not as much as you'd think

And not near as much time as between July and this post

This will sound , even for me... A friend of mine (a RL one) just got back recently from a wedding in Glasgow, and I've gotten it into my head that it'd be a very coincidence if one of the other guests was someone I know from here... And since I seem to remember that you're Glaswegian... Been to any weddings lately?

(Yes, I'm fully aware that the odds are very much against you recently attending the wedding of someone that just happens to have an American cousin, who just happens to live in one of the suburbs of Sacramento...)

And indeed the odds are against it. I have avoided all weddings since March, so I certainly wasn't at this one. Did they have a good time? Did they see much of Glasgow? I'm always interested to know what others think of the place.

I do know she had a wonderful time Don't know how much she actually got to see--haven't had much of a chance to talk since she got back.

Hello, the fact that I have replied swiftly to your message is a false dawn. I have had rather a lot on my plate over the last while which has caused me to not be on Hootoo much at all, certainly since Easter. I hope to be on more after this weekend which is Worldcon in Glasgow. Hopefully I will have the time then to write up what has been happening and get more sociable.
