*been meaning to stop by ever since the current name became, well, current*

Why shouldn't you ever look forward to things? Are you like me, and looking forward to something pretty much guarantees that it won't happen?

And I checked out your space again... What part of Canada would you move to, if you take advantage of your new citizenship?

Its planning ahead and its not a problem now atually. I had arranged a whole raft of things to do between now and Christmas, and then work tried to get me to move five hundred miles away. Annoyingly I actually want to make this move, only with a bit more notice would be nice. Due to the lack of notice it all fell though so I am back to wanting to move, but having plenty of stuff to do while I am still here. As to Canada, it is a nebulous back up plan, but I think Vancouver is currently my favourite place, within easy reach of the mountains. That said, Montreal and Toronto are very nice places so it would be a hard decision.

Well, if you moved to Vancouver, I could annoy you to come down and visit sometime--at least it's on the correct edge of the continentsmiley - winkeye Though there's more meets on the other side...

It is still a pie in the sky fall back plan if I get really bored on this side of the Atlantic. Wait till the economy picks up a bit and then we'll see. It would make it expensive to get to the Nodnol and Scots meets though. smiley - winkeye

Ah, but if I did that I wouldn't get as much drinking in a sociable setting in and people wouldn't throw up on me. ... Hang on a minute, I can start to see some good points to this.

I now have the keys to my flat and am heading back down south tomorrow to pack everything Toc and myself own into a huge van for us to drive up. Still, I should be settled in the flat by the end of next week and well on the way to a flat warming. smiley - smiley

Probably tackle the closet next weekend (not this weekend, obviously, since it's Easter) and I'm sure we'll figure out where to put the TV by July...
