Oh, and Toc, you really must learn that foodstuffs do not survive posting, even if you do wrap an elastic band around them.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

It were a laugh, but I'm definately getting too old for this all day pub malarkey.
However, now it is Easter and I have to get enthusiastic about going to Prague for the holidays. Oh it is hard to be me
Another BIRTHDAY?!?
Munchkin Posted Mar 18, 2003
Went up to Glasgow, but it was a reasonably calm and sane affair and I was only mildly hungover. Did get some nice books by a bloke called Edward Gorey who would appear to be a major influence on Spimcoot. Must ask him about that.
Another BIRTHDAY?!?
Munchkin Posted Mar 18, 2003
Not too bad. Quite quiet but good in a ConVivial sense.
Another BIRTHDAY?!?
Asteroid Lil - Offstage Presence Posted Mar 18, 2003
The late Edward Gorey was a very strange man, and I love his artwork and his macabre sense of humour.
Another BIRTHDAY?!?

As I say I got these two books and they were very odd. But strangely I liked them, especially The Unstrung Harp, all about some bloke writing a book. It just ambles along, having odd thoughts and some nice wee pictures. I will need to look out some more of his stuff.
