to hear that, Ive been looking after Mk2 for the past week or so, she has been in bed
She cant get out just now as her legs are numb, (DVT blood clots) and the weather is too clod to take her out on her scooter.
I feel like Im under house arrest Cant wait for the weather to improve so at least I can get out and smell fresh air again?
Smudger,
Sorry

Sorry to hear you are under house arrest but the air isn't that fresh.....at least not in York at the moment
Sorry

Ah! York, tes I remember being there years ago, it was a really hot summers day, and we were having a drink at this pub which was on the bank of the river.
There was a bridge there and the youngsters were diving off it into the water
Spent the day there looking round all the sights and of course the Cathedrial
Well we have snow here in Scoltand today, so I wont be stepping outside, not even to the local shop!
Smudger,
Sorry

I was reading my local paper last night on line, as Ive been away from there for the past 8 years. Anyway, a report told about one house having its roof completely blown off, shed demolished!, fences blown away?
While the house next door had no damage at all?
Is this Tornado country now?
If we ever get our claim for industrial accident sorted, which hopefully will be June this year (after 6 years?)
Im going to take Mk2 down to York to see it,
Smudger,
Sorry
Luthiena Posted Jan 20, 2005
We had our fence completely blown away about a week ago, along with a couple of roofing tiles and a small collapsible greenhouse
Sorry
Smudger879n Posted Jan 20, 2005
Sorry to hear about your fence, Its just as well I built mine before the back pain became worse
I built it two years ago, but I had help from one of my brothers inlaw to hammer in the posts and things.
Then I built a railing type fence along with two big gates for the drive entrance. I built them to allow the wind to blow through them, which is just as well,as all my neighbours have lost theirs?
I really miss doing jobs like that now, and I find frustrating that I cant do them any more
So I just do pottering about jobs now, ones that I can do sitting down
Smudger,
Sorry

Ah! that was just me on a bad day
actually I find plenty to do inside during this cold weather, looking after Mk2 takes up most of my time, then the housework, cooking and ironing, Hey just as well Im used to that Eh!
I used to live alone a lot when I was working away from home, so Im used to it
Smudger,
