Shall I send it off? I haven't done anything other than add a few links, so I don't suppose you'll want to change anything, but I thought I'd better ask.

Hi Bernadette,
I can't see anything to alter, except perhaps footnote 13. The change of the Julian (Era of Caesar)calendar to the Gregorian (Anno Domini).

Obviously this is just gobbldegook, but this seems to make even less sense than usual. Is it what you meant to say?
"His birth chart saw Aries ascendant in the House of Mars with an exalted Sun on an axis accompanied by the Sun. Mars in Aquarius, which is the House of Saturn. The Sun in the House of Jupiter."

This is a quote found from some source - don't ask me where!! I have been compiling a sort of History of Portugal according to Watermusic for around 15 years now, adding oddments in from unreferenced sources.
This part was very difficult, as basically it is a list of the births of the children, and wanted to comment a bit more on Henrique - Henry the Navigator, as he is the most well-known to the English.
Perhaps - Superstitious as they were in their days, the astronomers were taken very seriously. When the Royal Astronomer reported that 'Aries ascendant in the House of Mars with an exalted Sun on an axis accompanied by the Sun. Mars in Aquarius, which is the House of Saturn. The Sun in the House of Jupiter.' This was believed to be an excellent horoscope for the new prince.
