hands from the sky rip me open
Immediately all the blurry eyes in the room were upon me, and the item I held in my hands. One man, gibbering, shouted hoarsely. The crowd, my friends, began to chant. The walls shook, and the pure noise of their rasping mouths filled the air, overtaking me with dread. A hushed silence came next. In response to this, I tipped the contents of the small glass into the sink, and did not conform.![smiley -](http://www.h2g2.com/h2g2/skins/Alabaster/images/Smilies/f_.gif)
