h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm poppin' in as one of the Assistant Community Editors here, we greet/welcome recent registrants & give them some directions for getting around the site. Some of the first things you can do since you're quite new, are; (1) visit the 'I am new, what do I do now?' page@ A868098 , (2)- for a welcome other than just mine - check the 'Welcome page'@ A53146 , & (3, just in case ) take the <./>dontpanictour</.> .

Argueably the most prominent feature of h2g2 or hootoo as its also known, are the range of smileys ( , , , , , etc), you'll find the long list, divided into categories@ A155909 . It not only has simple instructions for using each of them, but you can refer back to it at any time by just typing smileys into the search window. You might also want to look at 'spicing up your page' ( A690518 ), as well as both 'the picture gallery' ( A692741 ) & 'the GuideML clinic'-which I've been told is quite easy if you've done any HTML-( A187229 ).

Three of my esteemed ACE colleagues have compiled comprehensive lists of links designed to help new researchers. Thanks you for letting me know, but St john Ambulance have asked 2 of our team to come on and add a few points about First Aid.

We feel that not enough people are up to date with First Aid, as you'll already know, it has changed over the years and we have new bandages and other new supplies, so if it is ok with you, I will post a few things about First aid.

There is also another Paramedic by the name of MickeyMouse2.
He is my work mate, and as I said, St John Ambulance have asked two paramedic to come on.
