I just watered some plants by hand during a thunderstorm. I think my head might have come loose.

But the thing is, these plants are under the eaves and not getting any rain, so maybe I'm not quite as demented as I must have looked.

Explain that to your neighbours, not me

It would seem that I am demented after all. We just had another freak deluge, complete with hail like popcorn, and the patio's flooded. The garage might be flooded too, but I don't fancy wading through icy water to have a look, not while I have this fever.

I took a couple of photos, and might put up a blog post tomorrow.

Yes, it's summer. It's all Perfectly Normal, apparently.

Now I'm going to fret about that blasted garage until I can get out there to look. But isn't it lucky that I had the gutters cleared last month?

I just crept out with a torch and the key to the back door of the garage. No flooding in the part of the garage that has my friend N's stuff in it, which is the main thing.

Now I stand a chance of getting a chill to go with my sunburn from earlier in the week. Oh brilliant. I should go to bed before I get frostbite or something. See you tomorrow.

I feel rotten again. *sneeze* I'm sure the rain-soaked garden would smell fabulous if only I could smell anything at all.

Get rid of the hail? Oh, that's melted, it's 30C again. (Like I said, Perfectly Normal.) But I've a feeling I'll be a bit unwell for a few days yet.

I should check the weather radar to see if there's another deluge coming this afternoon.

Oh dear, I shouldn't have mentioned it - now I feel very unwell indeed. Think I'll go back to bed again.

Mum knows I'm voiceless so she's not calling me - but she's deluging me with text messages instead. *sigh* Sometimes I hate modern telecommunications.
