I was just trying to add a little colour! Honest!
I've written an article. It's not published (probably never will be, wrong format).
Have a laugh. A2248724
And let me know what you think.

Veeery Impressed...
I only give specific tokens if they are requested..like the receiver is saving up for something in particular
I don't even buy Easter Eggs.....I give big bars of chocolate instead. Lasts longer and more chocolate for your money. Also cheaper than Easter Eggs............

Aaah, to hear that, give her a from me.
Hubby is asleep, so can't ask for anymore details until morning. I don't know if he was talking about someone from the past or more recently. I'll let you know

Hubby says....he doesn't know personally....but this girl rings a bell.
Did she have a 400/4 prior? She also had reddish colour hair.
This would be approx 3 - 5 yrs ago.
He only saw her when she called into Dillons in Willaston of a morning.
He's curious as there are still not many girl bikers about.

Right area, wrong lass.
My lady preffered to sleep on the pillion of moving bikes. She was planning to get her licence on our return, 7 years ago.
Sadly, she's only managed to sit on bikes once since. At the NEC a couple of years ago. Her leg causes too many problems for her to actually ride yet.
Funny thing is I had a 400-4 (still have but its been stashed for 14 yrs). This is gettimg spooky. Sounds like I might know the old fella though (my age group?). What's he ride?

Sorry, Hubby is non-rider now....due to family commitments.(or commitals, as he says) He is coming up to his 47 Birthday and also rode a 400/4. Drank in the Tap occasionally and the Bull, E'Port where also almost dropped a 800 Commando in the car park.

Similar age group. Same type of bike.
I've drank in the Tap off and on since late 70's. Bull for music years ago. Does he remember a band call Magic? A yellow 400-4? And the bloke (not me) who had 12 inch rolled ciggys?

Outrider....WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I'm bored!!!
The place you were trying to remember is Stairways (remembered that myself)
Hubby says did/do you go to the Cherry Tree, Runcorn & is Harvey still there??
Hubby never met "man with cigarette". But eldest daughter had mentioned years ago.

Outrider Posted Feb 12, 2004
That's it, Stairways.
I only went to the Cherry a couple of times, ditto Wheelies.
The clincher is Dunkirk and what Hapsford was before the Moat house got it.
