but it was great, because when they came out on stage. The GREAT Ginger Baker-ex Cream was drumming for them(I thought a let down for him)but I could not see owt, so I snook out and went on to a balcony that was off limitsI was smack next to the stage and in a lull, I shouted long live Cream! Ginger Baker drum solo! and he did onethen he looked up and put thumbs up to me, I bowed my head in thanks and gave the thumbs up back, it made my nightnobody came up to remove me, so I stayed there all through the gig

the Hawkwind guys just stood about and he did about a 10 min solo and then he went into a riff and they carried on onto their next number, but when he looked up,oh wow!, so I assume that at sometime, he was going to do a solo, but he did one for methe "kids" in the place would not have know Creamwith Clapton etc, so it was my mark of respect to Baker and him being with Hawkwind was just a filler

yep, me and a couple of mates from work at the time, they were way younger than me, we went to see Hawkwind, co's I'd got a couple of albums and when one of them told me they were at Donny, I said I'd make one in, but did not expect Baker, straight away,I thought what a come down for him, but it was worth while

You will have to chat with Hubby about them.. and I think VC was very much into their stuff too..

main track I've always like was Silver machine, so when the chance to see themhad to, just to hear that.

I've only seen Zeppelin/Richie Blackmore's rainbow/Blue Oyster Cult and Hawkwind, never had the money to travel to rock gigs

I've seen a few locally.. the biggest has been Bon Jovi and Aerosmith which were at the NEC Birmingham.

BOMBS AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY!!!

Ok OK,I'm back,from Spain.No panic now,I got so many tips from the pilot,flying over mountains will be doddle,it's landing in the North Sea I'm a bit worried about though.The rockets almost in it's last few months of final finishes.A cerise paint spray job,a few coats of varnish,a few more bits of sticky back plastic and we're off !!!
