Why I Like To Argue
Posted Dec 27, 2003
This morning I came to a very profound realisation. For the last three years I have felt somewhat compelled to argue with a particular person - for two and a half of those years he was my boyfriend, he is now my ex-boyfriend. Thank God.
Anyway, I finally realised why I always pick fights with him. It's because he's so unutterably boring to have a normal conversation with. He has no sense of humour, no vision "outside the square", and no understand of me as a person. The only way to have any excitement is to argue with him. Isn't that sad? He now refers to me as a selfish little bitch, because since our breakup I have felt even more free to fight with him - there's nothing to lose anymore!
