how have I been? Good, in the main. Lemmesee... since I last talked to you a lot I started going out with Andy, who I know through the chapel at my college in Durham... that was in October...
I got a boderline 2:2 in my end of year exams, which means if I work really hard this year I could get a 2:1 in my degree which would be good...
My grandmother died, quite sudenly, on the day of our general election - 7th June, which was a shock, but now she isn't suffering anymore...
And this summer I have in the main been busy doing nothing, catching up with old friends, Seeing U2 in concert, going to a christian rock festival... all sorts

You know, I own U2 albums from back when they were practically a Christian Rock band! Not that I bought them when they were released, I just own the CDs.
And what the heck is the Princess of Darkness doing at a Christian Rock festival???
Congrats on the scores, and the new man. (I could make some comment in poor taste about Andy being a score as well, but I won't).

Plus, people of the night don't exactly have equal rights yet. I mean, loads of shops shut right after it gets dark...

Its not so bad. The 24 hour culture is catching on... ...and on the dark side, its unhealthy to work too many night shifts...
