It's Cold in Northern Europe in January

This is to record that a walk in a friend's garden today was accompanied by a wild wind. A chance encounter with a friendly cat, who was sensibly sheltering on a window ledge, allowed for a photo opportunity and some serious thinking.

Crystal Creatures

Dublin has a little known treasure, a collection of glass marine creatures made by the Blaschka family in Dresden in the nineteenth century. An exhibition will continue at the Natural History Museum on Merrion Square until early in January.

Blogging towards Infinity

To my surprise, I like blogging. The Eblogger Beta system has made uploading photos very easy. It's a useful way of sending greeting cards to friends around the World.
Bloggers are a friendly crowd.

Dreamy Blogging

Unlike the great Paul Claudel, I have always enjoyed the prospect of filling a blank white page with writing, doodles, or colours.
The thought that a new blog is created every second on the Internet also fills me with a certain camaraderie. Good humoured thoughts fly through cyberspace as I write.
I hope that other Cybervoyagers will drop in from time to time to say "Hello".
