Well, I would have been away for the weekend, but the car decided to have a major mechanical breakdown, half an hour down the road. Four-and-a-half very cold, long hours later, the recovery man finally brought me home. Some 'priority'.
See what happens when you try to venture out into the real world...?! Think I'll just stay here in future, cocooned in my computer where it's safe and warm.
(BTW the symbols above stand for L.I.P.P.I.N of course!)

Getting my forums in a twist

It's getting hard to keep track of which conversation I'm having, with whom, and in which forum. The fact that most of the conversations are becoming increasingly difficult to follow, and that the same people are everywhere I go, is not helping matters!
Right, that's it. I'm off for a curry and a few beers.....
...everything will look clearer in the haze!

...and I just can't hide it!
Parcel Farce called earlier today (if he'd knocked any quieter, he'd have missed the door altogether). I picked up my little bundle from the doorstep, slightly baffled, opened it up, and then proceeded to dance all over the house. I've never been that pleased to receive a bunch of study materials before! Actually, it's my 'whole' course (which doesn't start proper until next Feb), as the rest is taught over the web. Guess I must have chosen the right course then! And of course, it gives me the excuse to spend even more time surfing... I'm sure I'll need to make frequent visits to h2... in the name of research, you understand.....

This H2G2 addiction thing is worse than I thought! Still, it's good to see that people are able to admit to it. The addiction forums are filling rapidly! Personally, I'm able to control my 'habit'. Really, I am! Just one more forum.....
