92nd (5th London) Field Regt RA(TA)

I have recently started to research into the 92nd (5th London) Field Regiment Royal Artillery (TA) in which my late father served between 1941-1946. On his return to England on demobilisation I was 10 years of age and have only been able to recall the details of his travels by relying on vague memories of the stories he told. What is striking about his war service is that it was almost entirely spent overseas; commencing with a long sea voyage to India in 1942, serving there, and in Iraq, Iran, Syria, Palestine, Egypt, Sicily, Italy,
France and Belgium, ending the war in Lubeck in North Germany.
His regiment was part of the 5th Infantry Division from 1942 until 1945 when it became part of the Guards Armoured Division.
I would be grateful if anyone who has knowledge of this regiment, and the divisions of which it was part, could pass on details of its activities in any of the aforementioned countries so that I can fill in the background to what I believe to be fascinating journey in difficult times. Any tips to a ‘novice surfer’ would also be very welcomed.
